Whether you’re planning to go away for a little while or disappear for a week or so, adventure is always out there. But, the question is, is adventure what you’re searching for? Or is a jam-packed itinerary not in your holiday forecast? Despite the answer, there’s a perfect trip out there waiting for you!
Let’s say that life’s got you stressin’, and just the simple thought of doing anything besides hanging out by some water and soaking up some sun gives you a headache. You deserve a nice, laid back and relaxing getaway where the food and drinks keep on coming, and all your worries wash away with crash of the tide. While there are many options as to how this type of trip can be accomplished, I have found that the most stress free vacations are often spent on cruise ships. Cruises provide not only the transportation, the itinerary, and food/drinks, but while on board they also provide many other amenities. On several cruise lines you’ll find your selection of spas, bowling alleys, bars, pools, theatre shows, clubs, the list goes on. Not only will you find activities for all ages, but the staff is always helpful when it comes to planning your perfect itinerary. And the best part is that everything you need for a laid back vaycay is right there for you on the ship, you barely have to lift a finger! Just bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, and maybe some Dramamine, and have yourself some “you” time!
Though I LOVE a good nap by the pool, sometimes my spirit needs more than just a week of sunshine and cold drinks. If you’re like me and crave to travel, be active and see some amazing views, I highly recommend taking a visit to The Great Northwest and book your flight to Seattle, Washington. In just 6 days I managed to visit 3 National Parks, tour the city of Seattle, go whale watching and see some other amazing wildlife, and let me tell you, breathtaking is an understatement. Despite your age or overall activity level, Washington is a state for anyone to visit.
So we know that we’re booking a trip, and we’ve decided how adventurous we’re willing to be. What’s the next step, and how can we plan these trips without completely burning a hole in our wallets? If you liked either of my top choices for vacations and adventures, keep your eye out for my upcoming blogs. Coming up, I’ll go deeper in depth on how to plan these trips, how to save money while doing it, and what I did to make these trips memories that I’ll cherish for the years to come!
